Rhiannon

Rhiannon is a Celtic Goddess of White Light, and although she is described in different ways, my favorite side of her is that of the Healer... The Lady who has three birds, one white, one emerald and one golden, who, when you are in pain or need, sing you to sleep and heal you in your sleep. And when you wake up, you are okay, your pain in gone... Rhiannon rides a white mare, who runs faster than any mortal horse, and lived through a sad love story with a mortal Prince, for whom she eventually gave up immortality. I first ran into Rhiannon through the wonderful song about Her by Stevie Nicks. Stevie is a major influence in my life to this day, and I owe a lot of inspiration to her words and voice.
