The Carpet Market

This cross stitch design is adapted from the painting "The Carpet Market" by Jean Léon Gérôme.

I just love all the colours in this design and when I saw it, I just had to chart it. This is by far the largest design I have charted so far, but anything smaller and the majestic details of the scene were lost. This is a project for the advanced - and patient - stitcher, but I believe the result will be worth the time involved.
